This diet is unlike any we have tried and failed with! It is designed specifically for us, the baby boomer generation born between 1946 and 1964.

We have accomplished so much. There is so much more we want to do. But all that we have done, and hope to still do, is at risk because we are in a weight crisis.

I am not pointing fingers. The problem is not you. It is us.

I am an economist. Numbers are my world. I was stunned when I found research that says we are statistically, meaning a mathematical calculation around a numerical norm, in a weight gain health crisis. Almost all of us are overweight. About a third of us are facing obesity. Our rate of obesity growth is higher than any other generation.

What does that mean to you…to us? Our weight gain threatens our ability to enjoy our remaining years. Weight-related health care costs, plus higher health related government expenditures that we pay for through our taxes, are threatening our financial future.

The real bottom line is that our weight threatens our ability to be there for our children and grandchildren. We must figure out how to lose weight and keep it off.

The Boomer Generation Diet is a thought-provoking, inspiring and a proven path for achieving sustained weight loss…with the emphasis on sustained! I have gone from 213 pounds to less than 185 pounds. I still lose a pound or two each month.

These best practices do require change but not pain. I do not go hungry. I still enjoy weekend dinner parties including desserts like chocolate eclairs. I have happy hour most evenings with my wife or friends. This diet fits into my family budget.
